GRIFFITH GOLD COAST
QUT GARDENS POINT
Q. I don’t know anything about running a food business. Is this ok?A.
Yes. Before you open your Burger Urge restaurant, we will provide you with a comprehensive 8 week training program so
that you can learn the Burger Urge systems and procedures and be fully prepared to run your own business.
Q. Am I required to work in the restaurant?A.
Yes. Experience tells us that Burger Urge sites perform significantly better when their owners actively participate in the day to day running of their restaurant. Nothing can replace a dedicated, passionate owner who has a vested interest in making the business a success. We therefore require that the owner of the business devote their full time and attention to the business.
Q. What will it cost me to set up a Burger Urge?A.
The total cost will vary depending on the size and layout of the site. Typically Burger Urge restaurants cost between $250,000 and $500,000 (plus GST) to establish. In addition to this you will need to pay the Franchise Fee of $30,000 (plus GST).
Q. How much money will I make as a Burger Urge franchise owner?A.
The profitability of a Burger Urge restaurant depends on many factors including your input, operational standards, economic conditions, local area factors, staff and service standards. We do not provide franchisees with any sales or profit forecasts in relation to potential Burger Urge locations.
Throughout the application process we will provide you with an assortment of information that will assist you in preparing a business plan and you are encouraged to seek independent legal and financial advice.
Q. Do I have to find a site?A.
No, we have a great property team that can assist you with choosing the right site. Burger Urge carries out research on potential sites and receives advice from property consultants prior to entering into lease negotiations to ensure that franchise partners are privy to prime locations in suitable areas. Of course, franchise partners are also welcome to suggest potential sites for Burger Urge to consider.
ANNA & IGGY, WEST END, QLD 4101
“I was working for other people and it came to the point where I wanted to go out and have my own project, I wanted to be my own boss. I wanted the freedom and control over my career and life. It is daunting when you get your first business but the best thing has been realising my potential and my partner’s potential and watching us grow through this experience. A franchise system gives you the structure to be successful and that is crucial to any businesses success. You need structure and whether you create that yourself, which is pretty hard or you can choose a franchise system which means the policies and procedures are already in place. That is what made us decide Burger Urge was the right model for us.” Anna and Iggy – Franchise Partners West End
THE RISHI BROTHERS, KELVIN GROVE, QLD 4059
“The biggest advantage of working as a business owner is the flexibility it gives you, plus having something of your own gives you an edge as you put 100% in the business and at the end of the day you can see the reward. We were passionate and had the drive to own our own business but we needed guidance. As Burger Urge is a franchise model they had developed policies and procedures which provided a solid foundation that enabled us to fulfill our potential. For anyone looking to invest in a franchise I’d say go for it! It’s been the best commercial decision we’ve ever made.” Rish and Chris – Franchise Partners Kelvin Grove
TODD, NUNDAH, QLD 4012
“I love the Burger Urge brand. The philosophy of providing distinctive handcrafted burgers with top quality produce is at the heart of what they do. This rolls through to the unique interior fit out and atmosphere of each store. My background was in mining so I really had no clue what I was doing when I stepped in to a kitchen but Burger Urge gave me all the tools I needed to succeed.” Todd – Franchise Partner Nundah
