Burger Urge Chief Operating Officer Shawn Kerr said customers were increasingly adopting a “Flexitarian” approach to their food, actively finding ways to cut back on their meat intake without scrimping on taste, quality or serving size. “So many of our customers are telling us they’re not vegetarian or vegan but just want to eat less meat, whether that’s for health reasons, food sustainability or just because they want to try something different,” Kerr said.
The Flex Menu also hands Burger Urge customers the power to mix up their favourites any time by swapping out meat and chicken for a plant-based patty at no extra cost.
