Welcome to the Pool Room
Nestled in the heart of suburbia, behind a wall of VHS tapes, netball bibs and 90s mixtapes, lies a sacred Aussie sanctuary - the Pool Room.
Much more than a restaurant, this is a tribute to the 'good room' in every family home. The one with the carpet you weren't allowed to walk on, the cabinet full of glassware that never got used, and the wall where Dad hung that singing fish like it was the Mona Lisa.
Here, we serve burgers with the same reverence usually reserved for trophies and commemorative plaques.
The more you look, the more you see your own childhood staring back at you-that signed cricket bat, all your sports day ribbons (even the participation ones), and that photo from a family trip to the Big Pineapple.
Maybe it's the smell of burgers on the BBQ, or the sound of talkback radio, but there's something about this place that just makes it feel like home.
And the burgers themselves?
Well, they're going straight to the pool room.
